Environmental Science is the field of study that examines questions addressing global warming and biodiversity that guides policymakers into decisions that ensure a sustainable future. Through your journey toward your degree, you will study how the Earth's abiotic and biotic systems work with an emphasis on how human activity influences these systems and the methods of control for air, water, land and noise pollution. Groundwater Festival teaches fourth grade students to conserve and preserve water supply

Fourth-grade students from around Pike County visited the 麻豆网站列表Campus Wednesday morning for the 19th annual Groundwater Festival. According to Janet Gatson, a lecturer in the university's Department of Biological and Environmental Sciences, the day is all about environmental education. 鈥淲e are trying to teach children to be mindful and aware,鈥 Gaston said. 鈥淭here is only a certain percentage of water that is drinkable, so we have to conserve and preserve that.鈥
