Dr. Ken Roblee

Dr. Ken Roblee

Dr. Roblee received degrees from the University of Alabama (B.S.) and Auburn University (M.S., Ph.D.). His primary research area is Graph Theory. He enjoys mentoring student research projects, and advising the Mathematics Club and chapter of the national mathematics honor society. Dr. Roblee primarily teach mathematics major and minor courses.
Dr. Sergey Belyi

Dr. Sergey Belyi

Dr. Belyi received his PhD from the University of South Florida. His research lies in the fields of operator theory, functional analysis, and system theory. His current research project has applications in mathematical physics as well.

Mathematics Degree Concentration

Choose from two concentrations within the TROY mathematics major: general mathematics and statistics. Each concentration is designed to align with your career goals and interests.
General mathematics concentration
With the general mathematics concentration, you'll gain a broad understanding of mathematical theories and applications. This concentration is ideal preparation for a variety of mathematics careers such as mathematician, actuary and teacher 鈥 or to get into graduate school.
Statistics concentration
The statistics concentration provides focused training in data analysis, experimental design and statistical methods. This concentration prepares you for careers like data analyst, statistician and actuarial scientist or for advanced studies in statistics and related fields.

Mathematics Scholarships

Murray and George R. O'Neal Mathematics Endowed Scholarship

The assists full-time students with a declared major in Mathematics or Mathematics Education on the 麻豆网站列表 campus in Troy, Alabama. Applicants must be residents of Alabama or Florida, enrolled in a Mathematics course of Calculus or higher, and enroll in a mathematics course each semester until Mathematics requirements are met.
